If you are driving on I 90: exit at Belgrade.
If you are flying: from the Bozeman Airport turn right at the T intersection to Belgrade.
From Belgrade, turn South, cross over I-90, pass under the traffic lights, pick up US 191, and drive past the village of Gallatin Gateway and the Exxon Station/Gourmet Restaurant on Route 191 for six more miles to The Trout Club's private road on the left just 30 yards before the flat concrete bridge over the Gallatin River at the entrance to the Gallatin Canyon. Drive past the dumpsters and through the metal gate. Now drive exactly one mile South on the east side of the river to arrive at The Trout Club. You will be arriving at the finest Montana vacation rental cabins - The Trout Club.

The Trout Club is central to everything you might want to see in Southwestern Montana.
First trip on the agenda is to see Yellowstone Park. It's a 90 minutes drive south on hwy 191. You might want to take a short ten mile side trip up to Lone Mountain to see the Big Sky ski resort. You could have lunch there.
Yellowstone's roads are in a figure of eight. You could drive half the figure of eight, or circle around and see all the park, and come out at the North entrance at Gardiner. Then follow the Yellowstone River to Livingston, a real western town. Have dinner in Livingston, then take Interstate 90 back to Bozeman and the cabin. A good one day trip.
Some people exit at the South entrance of Yellowstone and drive the 100 miles to Jackson Hole to see the Grand Tetons. Stay in a motel overnight and see the town in the morning, then go to the ski resort and take the gondola up to the top. Very nice two day trip. Have lunch at the ski resort. Take the back road until it rejoins the highway and see the rest of Yellowstone, exiting at Gardiner. Then proceed to Livingston as with the one day trip.
On the way to Yellowstone, you will pass the Yellowstone Raft Co. - A big tent stands on the lot. It's about 15 miles South of your cabin. You can raft down the Gallatin for 2 hours, passing through where they filmed "A River Runs Through It." A good ride.
Near the entrance road to Big Sky are several outfitters. They would take you on 2 hours or more guided horseback trips.
About 40 miles West of Bozeman are the Lewis and Clark Caverns.
In Bozeman is the dinosaur museum - Museum of the Rockies - on the campus of Montana State University. A must see.
A top restaurant is at the Gallatin Gateway Inn, which was the terminal for the railroad a hundred years ago. An historic landmark to see. It is on highway 191 just six miles from the cabin. Don't overlook the Exxon Station Gourmet Restaurant across from the Gallatin Gateway Inn. Very good mostly Mexican food.
In Bozeman are a number of very nice boutiques and at least 30 restaurants.

Finally, don't miss seeing all three outhouses at The Trout Club [of course, they are for decoration only].
