The Trout Club gets numerous requests for weddings, as many prospective brides and grooms seek a more natural setting for their nuptials than the usual house of worship or hotel ballroom.
In 2005 Holly Jurvakainen and Stephen Wilson exchanged their vows on the lawn next to the Rainbow Cabin. Below are some of the photos they took of this and a few comments from the groom's mother, Katherine Wilson.
Dear Mike and Helen:

Groom's last day of independence
The table is set

Time out in the meadow before the big event
Waiting expectantly to gain a lovely daughter
Bride and Dad make their entrance

Administering the oaths of allegiance and everlasting love

Some of the many guests
How
high should we toss her?
Time to party
Mike and Helen:
A postscript:
I know this offering may be a bit excessive, but as I said, it was the BEST
wedding ever. Family and friends came from Washington, Idaho, Oregon,
Texas, Arizona, Nevada and Arizona, and oh yes, a few from Montana. We had
a meal for 50 served in Cutthroat the evening before the wedding which I
prepared with helping hands from my brother-in-law and cousin; a wedding
breakfast outside of Rainbow the day of the wedding prepared by the father
of the groom and his good friend, Larry; hors d'oevres after the ceremony by
the bride's parents and grandmother; and a feast that evening prepared by
Doc Watson, Chef. I think the attendance for the wedding was around 75.
