Letters from our guests:

Hello Mike!
We absolutely loved your bit of
Montana. The cabin was even more perfect than it looked in the pictures.
We didn’t see a single person the entire time we were there, which is
exactly what we were going for. Amazing how warm that cabin stays, we
didn’t even use electric heat all weekend. Can’t wait to come back some
time. Thank you so much for finding a turkey roaster..it worked out very
well. All in all an awesome, awesome trip, exactly what we all
wanted. That river is amazing and there was a perfect amount of snow for
sledding. Good job finding such a nice piece of land and making it so
welcoming and cozy. We all wish we could buy it
J.
Thanks again, hope your Thanksgiving was great!

Hi Mike,
A little late in commenting on our stay at Annie's Cabin, but have been
playing massive catch-up. Everything the information on Annie's Cabin said
was absolutely correct and then some. We had a lovely time tucked away from
all the world in a perfect setting. The Gallatin was amazing. We
would love to return to paradise.

Hi Mike,
Just a
quick note to let you know that all went well on our trip. The Rainbow
cabin was great & we had such a wonderful time! It was a bit cold when
we arrived (-9) and the temps dropped to -19 degrees the next morning.
After everything warmed up a bit we had an absolute ball! It was
everything that I imagined it would be & more. We are looking forward
to our next trip out that way & may very well just wait until winter
again! The snowmobiling was fantastic!
Please
thank Helen for me. She recommended a couple of places to stop & we
took her advice. We found a couple of really nice items at the antique
mall that she recommended. I was really tickled.
Anyway,
thanks again for all of your help in making this a wonderful vacation
with memories that will last a lifetime!
Please
take care.

Just wanted to
let you know that Annie's Cabin was a delight. All of the wonderful
"little touches" that are there make it so very comfortable and cozy.
I truly loved your little piece of heaven.

Dr. Mike:
Thank you 'so very much' for once again allowing us to enjoy the Rainbow
Cabin over the Thanksgiving Holidays! We all had a wonderful time and
enjoyed watching Winter slowly creep in and take over the area.

Besides
getting in some much needed relaxation, while we were in Montana, we got
in some great fishing and hunting. As proof, thought that you would enjoy
seeing the attached picture of a nice trout caught on the upper Maddie
with outfitter Chad Olsen......it literally goes from one of my shoulders
to the other.

Doctor:
We just
wanted to send you a word of thanks and tell you that we were in love with
Annie's before we got here and are even more so now after calling it home
for the past 4 nights. We have run the wheels off of our rental car and
will be working our way to Jackson at day's end tomorrow for an overnight
stay and daytrip Monday in the Tetons...back here Monday night. Everything
is secure here....fishing has been slow, but still wonderful to walk to
the Gallatin at daybreak. Thanks a million! Hope to do this again soon!
God Bless!

Mike:
Words can't describe it...as I sit here, under 7 feet of snow at the base of
the Adirondacks, my heart and mind are still on the Gallatin, standing in
front of the cabin, catching more fish than any man has a right to...
Speaking for my Dad and my brothers, thanks for that opportunity.
It was a 60th birthday present we'll never regret giving.

Dear
Mike & Helen,
We are back in New Orleans
after a fabulous family holiday in the North West. We just wanted to thank you for the
opportunity to stay at the rainbow cabin, it is a great place and we loved it. Sorry we
did not have a chance to spend a little time with you, but it was good to meet you, being
only for a couple of minutes. The kids loved the fishing and caught a few trout near the
cabin.
All the best,
Jo, John, & Co. |

Mike, Thanks for the absolutely
wonderful weekend. We look forward to going up again. Maybe this summer, but
definitely again next winter. Annie's Cabin was absolutely everything we dreamed it
would be. Thanks again.

Dear Mike:
Re:
Annie's cabin
Debbie keeps
the cabin spotless - and we had a great time. You might add to your website the fact
that The Trout Club is great for non-fishers, too. We enjoyed walking The Trout Club
road in both directions; south for riparian forest ecology, north for irrigation
engineering and geology; bird and plant identification everywhere. The canyon opens
out at both ends for good mountain views - and lazing about the cabin is also highly
recommended. Thanks for the good time. We will spread the word.

Mike, just thought I'd drop a line to tell you what a great time me and my buddies had
last week at the Rainbow Cabin.
We all had a great time. Fished the Madison several days and we slayed them.
Several 19" browns and lots of 15-17" rainbows. On the last day we went to
the Yellowstone River and one of our crew caught a 20" rainbow. We caught a lot
of fish in the Gallatin also.
We saw moose, elk, otters, beaver and antelope. Had a
wonderful time. The cabin was fantastic.
Take care. I'm sure
we'll see you next year.

Mike;
Just wanted to finally get back to you and express our appreciation for a really
good experience in your "Rainbow" Cabin. The cabin was clean, well stocked
and just as you described.
Even though the Gallatin
was running full, and brown during our stay, we enjoyed the cabin and the sound of the
river. We had to go to great lengths to find clear water to fish in (Mid-May 2001)
but when we did, the fishing was great and we had a wonderful time.
Thanks again for letting us
share this excellent accommodation. Montana, and the Gallatin Valley, truely are
God's country!

Mike--
I've been meaning to e-mail you to let you
know how much two of my sons and I enjoyed our stay in your cutthroat cabin and the
fishing on the gallatin. The accommodations were very enjoyable, and we wanted for
nothing. the fishing was very good. on several days we caught 10 - 15 fish
each - mix of east slope cuts, bows and a few browns. one afternoon upstream from
the cabins i landed two 15-17 inch cuts on two successive casts from downstream of a large
boulder on a bubblebee i had tied here in lexington. that was fun. we hope to
come back again soon.

Dear
Dr. Teitelbaum,
We enjoyed our stay at Annie's cabin so much we are planning a return
trip. There was a problem with our last stay....................it wasn't long
enough!!!!
The seclusion and scenery of the canyon are magnificent. Having
the doe eating on the foliage by the patio our last evening there was so enjoyable.
We also saw several others as we came and went from the cabin to the river.
The Gallatin River is a fly fisherman's paradise!!! I have been
fly
fishing for two years and never have I seen so many trout rise for such a long period of
time. It is one of the easier rivers to wade and fish for a novice fisherman like
me.
The diary on the desk is such a perfect idea and it gave us some ideas
on the flies to use since we weren't familiar with the area. It made
interesting reading.
Thank you for such a nice vacation and a nice cozy cabin. I
highly
recommend it to any couple. It was very nice of you to stop by since I had been
wanting to meet you.
Thanks again,

Dear Mike and Helen,
We just wanted to Thank You for the wonderful vacation we had at the Trout Club this past
August. It really was the best vacation we have ever had. Sorry it took so
long but we are back in the RAT RACE and time has flown by.
Everything at the Trout Club, from the scenery, to the fishing, to
the cabin itself, was perfect. There is nothing in the world like sitting on the
deck of Rainbow cabin in the morning with a fresh cup of coffee and just listening to the
river flow by, except maybe, being in the river with a fly rod in your hand. We
can't decide so we will call it a tie. Not a week goes by that one of us doesn't say
"I want to go back to the cabin."
We were all impressed - 6 adults and 3 children under 3 years
old - with the care and planning that you put into running such a wonderful vacation
spot. You helped us show our kids what it is that we love so much about
Montana. Being born and raised on the East Coast they couldn't get over the fact
that there are still beautiful, peaceful, and FRIENDLY places left to escape to in this
country. We thank you for allowing us the oportunity to show this to our
grandchildren.
Again, thank you for such a great time.

DEAR DOC & WIFE,
WE ARRIVED IN MONTANA SO
LATE TO A SWEET LITTLE GLOWING LIGHT AND FRESH WILDFLOWERS IN OUR QUAINT CABIN. IF
ONLY WE KNEW WHAT WE WOULD WAKE UP TO!!! LITTLE DEER THAT LOOK LIKE BUNNIES JUMPING
ALL AROUND OUTSIDE THE KITCHEN WINDOW. WE WOKE TO A WONDERFUL SUPRISE. MONTANA
IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY, THE MOST NATURAL BACK TO EARTH PLACE I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY
LIFE. THE AIR IS EVEN ALIVE WITH SUCH BEAUTY AND SUCH A HEALTHY GUST. YOU FEEL
REVIVED.
WE FISHED, WENT TO
YELLOWSTONE, VIRGINIA CITY, QUAKE LAKE, GALLATIN GATEWAY AND STACEYS - ALL THAT WE
COULD ABSORB IN THE TIME WE HAD. I WOULD LOVE TO LIVE HERE......ESPECIALLY MY
HUSBAND! FISHING IS GREAT AND SET IN SUCH A SERENE NATURAL SETTING. GOD
DEFINITELY WORKED OVERTIME IN MONTANA!
WE DO THANK YOU SO MUCH
FOR LETTING US STAY IN YOUR LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN AND FOR MAKING IT SO COZY.
THE SPICES, THE FLOWERS, THE MOVIES - YOU PUT SO MUCH THOUGHT INTO THIS CABIN AND THE
COMFORT OF OTHERS, AND IT SHOWS.
I DREAM OF MONTANA STILL
AND WAKE UP AND MISS ALL OF ITS BEAUTY. IT'S IN OUR BLOOD NOW.
I DO HOPE THAT WE CAN
COME BACK TO OUR CABIN AGAIN AND AGAIN. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

We so enjoyed
staying at "The Cutthroat." My boys had a wonderful time fishing (they

Dear Mike,
I
just wanted to take a minute and tell you that we had a great time at the Trout Club. It

Rainbow cabin could not have been any finer. We had one of the best Thanksgivings that we

Once again, thank you...

Dear Mike,
We arrived Friday after
Lauri Drescher was leaving. She was so friendly and had helpful advice as well as
having the cabin spotless. We couldn't believe our good fortune in renting your home
- washer/dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal - this is some "cabin." The
river is grand and our son caught a 17" rainbow right out front.
Our journal entry is being written with the last of the sun's rays streaming through the
pines into the sunroom as the river surges by. Even after a week, we are astounded
at how well-equipped your home is. The kids have commented that they love the beds.
We are movie illiterates but have managed to stay up almost every evening and watch
something from your great collection.
It would appear that you now own a small piece of this heaven that is called Montana.
We sincerely thank you for sharing it with us. It is a week that we will
surely remember. We hope someday to meet you here.

Dear Mike,
Leaving
with fond memories and a sore arm. The Montana areas we visited were beautiful and
the rivers equally special. It was a pleasure to come back each day and enjoy the
beautiful cabin. The scenery, rivers, the cabin and especially the fishing made this
one of the most enjoyable vacations we have ever spent. We are sad to leave.

Dear Mike,
Thank you!
Thank you! Thank you! DeBose Family arrival. "What a delightful
home away from home." We left Los Angeles hurried and worn, tattered and
torn. We emerged six days later relaxed, reunited and rejuventated. We love
everything about our stay at the Cutthroat Cabin.
We had a wonderful family
reunion. Jason, age 16, loved every moment of his exclusive six days with mom and
dad to himself.
We look forward to returning as soon as possible. Thanks for a memorable vacation.

Dear Dr. Teitelbaum:
Sorry it has taken us so long to write and thank you for such a lovely stay in Annie's
Cabin. It was so wonderful to get away from life's troubles and relax in such a beautiful
setting.
Joseph loved walking the short distance to the river to paint his fly on the beautiful
Gallatin River. He caught several really nice fish and of course our constant companion
K.D. was excited to see those fish come out of the water. All we do is catch and release
so the fish were put back to catch another day.
We
arrived a little early and were happy to meet Lauri's Mom and Dad. I guess they were
helping Lauri out by cleaning cabin. Really nice people and they could not say enough nice
things about the good doctor.
We
went for walks in the mornings and enjoyed two deer sightings. You have a resident
squirrel living in the wood pile on the porch and I stood in the kitchen for several
minutes enjoying watching him chew on the wood laying there. To sit on the porch and look
up at the mountain and listen to the wind whistle through the trees was so relaxing. Joe
and I and K.D. sat there for hours. Joe and I played cards, that were so conveniently left
there by you, and K.D. was in Heaven enjoying all the outdoor smells.
We
left the day before we were scheduled to leave after weighing our options and so I was not
able to shop for a hummingbird feeder. I feed both wild birds and hummingbirds and I
wanted to buy a hummingbird feeder and leave it there at Annie's Cabin for your guests to
enjoy. The nectar is simply one to four ratio, one cup of sugar to four cups of water and
I never put red food color in as I think it is not good for the birds. Anyway, I'm sorry
we did not have time to buy and leave one. Next time we come I will bring a feeder and
hang it up outside on the porch for you.
The day before we left we were fortunate enough to meet Lauri, her husband and children.
You were expecting guests in the other cabins and she was doing laundry. What a darling
young women. She made sure we had everything we needed and we were happy to have met her.
Well Dr. Mike, thank you
again for acquiring such a lovely piece of ground. We would love to come stay again.
Sincerely,
Joseph, Pearl and K.D.

Dr.
M:
Just a quick line or two to express my thanks for your kindness and charming
hospitality shown in booking Annie's for this September. Obviously,
wonderful hospitality is not just a southern thing. I sincerely thank your
graciousness shown in your giving of our first wedding gift. It will be the
initial entry in our album and already is so in our hearts. We are excited
about our The Trout Club visit and do hope that we have the opportunity to
meet you face to face. Your charm is hypnotic. Pun intended. God bless you!
Respectfully,
