THIS AND THAT IN THE YEAR 2001Repeat lectures on hypnosis and memory at Cerritos High School; hypnotizing 40 teenagers at the state meeting of FHA-HERO with over a thousand in the audience; and taping a television segment for producer Harrison Held are some of the highlights early in 2001. Dr. Amazing's costume as Kryptoman has now been enshrined in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Pretty good for a guy who can't carry a tune. Armand Van Helden's new techno/disco music video featuring Dr. Amazing as himself is debuting on October 7, 2001 at the Cypress Hill "Smoke Out" in San Bernardino, California. Last year 43,000 attended the concert. With the video scheduled to be shown throughout Europe and America at concerts, dance clubs and exercise gyms, Dr. Amazing will truly be the King of Music Videos. Be sure to schedule him early for your group's entertainment. THIS AND THAT IN THE YEAR 2000Dr. Amazing filmed a commercial for the World Wrestling Federation and Jaack's Toys with "The Big Show" - a 7'2", 500 pound, star wrestler with the WWF. Dr. Amazing is Dr. Frankenstein in the commercial, and it was aired nationally starting in February, 2000. On February 7, 2000, Dr. Amazing hypnotized a couple for the UPN t.v. show "Blind Date." It was aired the first week of May and again in December. In January, 2000, Dr. Amazing was featured in two half hour Media One cable films. He was interviewed on the program "Women of Prominence." Subjects discussed were hypnosis and memory improvement. Dr. Amazing's two books "Hypnosis Induction Technics" and "How Not To Forget" are keeping the printers busy meeting the demands for them. On March 10th Dr. Amazing appeared on the live broadcast of KKBT - AM, Los Angeles, at the Sun Theatre in Annaheim and hypnotized a group of guests for hosts Dr. Dre and Ed Lover. On March 18 and 19, Dr. Amazing was filmed as Kryptoman, the superhero, in the music video "Kryptonite" for 3 Doors Down. The video was shown daily throughout the year 2000 on MTV, HV1 and Much Music (Canada). Clips of Kryptoman were shown at the Billboard's Annual Awards Show. "Kryptonite" received a Grammy nomination. On March 29th Dr. Amazing lectured to three psychology classes at Cerritos High School. He discussed hypnotism, performed two memory feats and demonstrated his hypnotic method. During the summer of 2000, Dr. Amazing presented memory improvement seminars for the Fresno Convention Center and for Brooks College in Long Beach in addition to hypnosis shows for these sponsors. In November 2000 Dr. Amazing was interviewed for half an hour by Skip E. Lowe for both cable and t.v. Skip has been interviewing Hollywood stars for 22 years. Dr. Amazing finished off the year 2000 with three shows in one week at Venice, CA, Greenwich, CT and Lodi, CA.
